Well that was a trip down memory lane

And a trip like that is not for the faint of heart ;) hehe

I enjoyed posting my wedding. Thanks to you all for sharing that with me :)

About the Bear Meat on my menu: Kevin went Bear hunting with our friend Ron not long ago... Kevin did not get a shot at one, but Ron did. So he shared the meat with us.

I was leery about it myself, but it honestly tastes a lot like Deer. Which we practically live on this time of year :)

I am working on my menu for next week right now, and I am finding myself in the slump still. I hate that. Why can't we just order pizza or fried chicken every day? haha

That would work for me... for about a week ;) Then I would get sick of it. haha

I like to cook, so I don't know what my problemo is.

Oh well. It will pass I am sure.

Here is a meme for you, since I got nuttin else. I believe I saw this at Carrie's.

Go to Wikipedia and type in your Birthday month and day only.

December 20th

List 3 Events that occurred that day:

First this is cool - December 20 is the 354th day of the year (355th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 11 days remaining until the end of the year.

Ok three events:

1192 - Richard the Lion-Heart is captured and imprisoned by Leopold V of Austria on his way home to England after signing a treaty with Saladin ending the crusade.

How cool. I just finished reading Ivanhoe, and Robbin Hood. Interesting!!

1803 - The Louisiana Purchase is completed at a ceremony in New Orleans.

2007 - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II becomes the oldest ever monarch of the United Kingdom, surpassing Queen Victoria, who lived for 81 years, 7 months and 29 days.

Rock On Queen Elizabeth!! Poor Prince Charles! LOL

And I had to share these two birthdays as well:

1982 - David Cook, American singer, winner of American Idol
1990 - JoJo, American singer

I love The David ;) And my kids adore JoJo because of her part in Aquamarine :)

  1. Im in the same cooking slump. I have the menu up until Thursday and then I don't know. I hate weekends and never really plan anything, we usually end up eating sandwiches unless I beg the hubs to go out.

I'm all over this meme like bears on honey.
My wedding pics are up as well. I felt the same way as you..it was time to move that piece of history down the post line. :)

  2. I'm sorry to hear about your slump. That's always so frustrating, isn't it?

  3. I feel the same way - just not in the mood! I'm in the mood to read books and eat delivery.
